Love Hurts
LoveHurts is my independent comic book about relationships, bands that “call it a day”, false excuses, dogs that burned in the stratosphere and heartbreaks in general. It was released in Brazil in 2011, and in 2012 won the the Angelo Agostini Award as best independent release.
In 2012 I’ve decided to translate it (with a little help from my friends) to english, and print a limited “international” edition that was released at San Diego Comic Con. This edition is very special, I’ve printed only 600, each one is numbered and I’ve made some variant-silk-printed-covers (2 so far, but maybe more are coming;).
If you want to have one, the best way is at Khepri comics, a nice independent online seller of comic books and graphic novels that ships both nationally and internationally (and accept Paypal). Khepri is online since 1998, offering the best indie and mainstream titles, and also specialize in ‘boutique’ items.
You can find LoveHurts in some comicshops too. Like MISSION: COMICS & ART in San Francisco and THE BEGUILING, in Toronto.
